On September 4th, our brother Randy was hit by a car in Seaside, California. He is very lucky to be alive, but he's still unconscious, and requires both a breathing and feeding tube.
We need your help to get him home.
Randy has always been there for those who needed him the most.
He had just returned to California after putting his life on hold for nine months to help his mother care for her terminally ill husband.
After his stepdad passed away, Randy went back to California to help his friend remodel his house after it burned. This was Randy's life. He helped a lot of people.

Now he's in the hospital, battling pneumonia, healing from a badly broken hip, and fighting to stay alive. When he's able, he will be transferred to a skilled nursing facility.
Our family wants desperately to get him home to Michigan for rehab. The physical therapists say any contact such as having someone talk to him, read to him, touch, movement, and listening to music will help in the healing process.
His best chance for recovery is to be close to his family.
Because of his condition, he will need a medical transport which is very expensive and not covered by any insurance or program.
You can help by:
1). Giving whatever you can. Your generosity is GREATLY appreciated.
2). Sharing Randy's story on social media.
3). Emailing this page -- https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-62-yr-old-navy-vet-get-home-to-michigan?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet -- to your family and friends.
Thank you for your support.
