Help 5 Yr Maxi & Father-Sammy-Critical Condition

Samuel, his wife and his two youngest kids went to the grocery store on Wednesday, September 29th. On their way home they were involved in a devastating automobil accident. His wife and seven year old son received injuries and were discharged from the hospital later that night. However, Samuel and Maxi received the most impact in the accident.

Five year old Maxi has been in ICU since the day of the accident and was transferred to Los Angeles Childrens Hospital to undergo Neurological testing and therapy.   As of today (Oct 8) Maxi is unable speak, walk or move his left arm.  His mother has and will continue to be at his side 24-hours a day until he is able to return home.

Samuel had to undergo immediate surgery the day of the accident since he was bleeding internally. He has also gone through a major pelvic surgery and is currently recovering in ICU. It is evident that it will take months for Samuel to fully recover as he will need to go through extensive rehabilitation. Samuel was the sole provider for his family and will need all the support he can get from family, friends and people like you that understands the monthly financial responsibilities that are needed to support a family of six.

Samuel, su esposa y sus dos hijos menores fueron al supermercado el miércoles 29 de Septiembre. Regresando a casa se vieron envueltos en un devastador accidente automovilístico. Su esposa y su hijo de siete años sufrieron heridas y fueron dados de alta del hospital esa misma noche. Sin embargo, Samuel y Maxi recibieron el mayor impacto en el accidente.

Maxi, de cinco años, a estado en cuidado intensivos desde el día del accidente y fue trasladado al Hospital Infantil de Los Ángeles para someterse a pruebas neurológicas y terapia  Hasta estos momentos (Oct 8) Maxi no puede hablar, caminar ni mover el brazo izquierdo.  Su madre ha estado y seguirá estando a su lado las 24 horas del día hasta que pueda regresar a casa.

Samuel tuvo que ser operado de inmediato el día del accidente ya que sangraba internamente. También ha pasado por una cirugía pélvica y actualmente se está recuperando en cuidado intesivos. Es evidente que a Samuel le tomará meses y quizas años para recuperarse por completo, ya que tendrá que pasar por una rehabilitación extensa. Samuel es el único proveedor de la familia y necesitará todo el apoyo que pueda recibir de familiares, amigos y personas como usted que comprendan las responsabilidades financieras mensuales que se necesitan para mantener a una familia de seis.
