Help 6 year old little boy help his best friend

This is Misty.

She’s a two year old frenchie and her best friend is a little boy called Blake. They’ve been inseparable for the last two years and Blake absolutely adores her.

Unfortunately Misty is struggling to walk as her back legs are giving way. She has seen a vet and sadly it’s looking like she has IVDD. She is now on a strict crate rest and only allowed out on the lead to go to the toilet. She is also now on pain relief and anti inflammatories daily. Without help Misty will likely deteriorate and could end up fully paralysed and/or put to sleep. Ideally she needs X-rays and further tests to confirm her diagnosis as soon as possible so that we can do everything possible to prevent this. The cost for the X-rays alone is estimated at around £1000.

Blake’s mum is a single parent who’s recently started her own business but even working all the hours possible finds it hard to make ends meet. The last thing she wants to do is let Misty suffer or go without but she doesn’t have that sort of money saved up either.

That is why I’m setting up this page to see if together we can help this sweet little dog & take some of the pressure off of Blake’s mum. The funds raised will go towards the X-rays, any medication needed & equipment to help her care for Misty as needed - for example dog ramps.

Blake and his Mum would be so grateful for the help as I know how much Misty means to them.
