Help 5 year old Luke Roller fight Cancer

Donation protected
Luke is the sweetest, strongest 5 year old boy.

This Is the most vulnerable and raw I have ever been publicly .

I met Luke’s mom, Dawn, over 2 decades ago. We shared the ups and downs of our 20s together. She eventually met her loving husband Billy, my kids were in their wedding, and our lives grew.

In December 2022 Dawn told me she had Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. Her mom Holly died from Leukemia August 2022. Doctors hoping a treatment would come along to save Dawn, until then she would always have cancer. At this moment she is fighting and living strong. We had the most difficult conversations about mortality in your 40s. About what it might be like for her now 5 year old son Luke to maybe not have a mother.

Then the unimaginable happened.

Luke was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma cancer . High risk. Immediate surgery and chemo. This was right before Mothers Day 2025.

Luke’s Neuroblastoma comes with a high risk of reoccurrence . This means he has to do an extremely aggressive treatment plan which will take a minimum of 15 months. Luke will need several rounds of inpatient chemo, at least one surgery to remove the gigantic tumor that has spread from his liver to diaphragm. The tumor itself is now pushing on organs causing him pain. Then radiation , 2 stem cell transplants and 6 months of immunotherapy. It will be a long and difficult road and he will have to be in the hospital for a lot of it. He will be very sick and in need of visiting nurses coming to the house when he is home.

Luke is 5, graduating from Kindergarten next month at St. Mary’s in Lancaster. He loves Pokémon, Spider-Man & Super Mario Brothers. He loves ALL sports like baseball, hockey. soccer & swim- he’s a little boy who needs to run and be free!!!

Due to the intense treatment Dawn will not be able to work for the foreseeable future. Billy has taken off for at least the summer to be by Luke’s side. Because all that baby boy wants is for his parents to be near him, to help heal his pain.

They have already incurred their high deductible of $16,000 in debt from insurance, plus there will be many things their medical insurance doesn’t cover. They will need that same amount of money to still pay their mortgage and bills while they don’t work for the summer and stand by Luke’s side.

Sometimes I feel like their pain is so unbearable, I forget to breathe. I can’t imagine how it feels to be Luke, Dawn or Billy right now.

Please help in assisting their family with the overwhelming medical bills to provide ease to the Roller’s. They are a humble, hard working family who don’t like asking for help .

All money raised will be directly transferred to Dawn Roller’s bank account to pay for their bills.

Let them concentrate on getting their sweet boy into remission….
