I’m not one to ask for help or donations, but 6 short months after suddenly losing my sweet boy Bentley during emergency surgery I am once again faced with yet another traumatic event. Yesterday my 5 month old puppy Raya was perfectly fine at lunchtime, she was put in her kennel as usual and when I returned 3 hours later I found her covered in vomit, diarrhea, and blood. She was unable to stand and her gums were extremely pale. I rushed her right to the ER and quickly found out that she was in complete liver failure. She spent the night in the ICU and unfortunately is not improving. I now have to transfer her to Philadelphia for blood transfusions and continuous ICU care. I’m looking at a bill well over $10,000. This poor girl has been through so much in her short 5 months, she was rescued and flown to the USA from Puerto Rico, she is a SATO puppy. It took a lot for me to agree to make this account but I want to save my girl, she’s my family now. I don’t expect anything but I wanted to share our story, and pray for the best. Raya and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
