Hi, my name is Greg McConnell, the proud coach and mentor of the 5 juniors from Northern Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia. I’m reaching out with an incredible opportunity — and a heartfelt request for your support.

In July 2025, five of our most talented junior golfers have qualified to compete at the World Junior Golf Championships in Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA — one of the most prestigious junior events on the planet. Representing not just our club, but Australia, these young athletes have earned their spot through years of hard work, dedication, and countless hours on the course.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for them to compete against the best juniors in the world, gain international experience, and inspire other young golfers in our community. But dreams like this come with a price tag.

We’re raising funds to help cover flights and accommodation costs for their families, many of whom are making big sacrifices just to give their children this chance. As you can imagine, the cost of traveling from Australia to the U.S. — especially for a family — is significant.

How Your Donation Helps:

• ✈️ Flights to and from North Carolina for the juniors and one parent each

• Accommodation for the duration of the championship

• ️‍♂️ Travel support for practice rounds, tournament days, and team bonding

Every dollar donated will go directly toward easing the financial burden on these families and helping these deserving juniors represent Australia on the world stage with pride.
