Our beautiful Vicky Molina Lomeli, 55 years young, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018, surrounded by loved ones. Her son Gabe held one hand and daughter Karli held the other, as her husband Ben (her love of 41 years) watched over.
Vicky fought bravely as she underwent open heart surgery for mitral valve replacement, pacemaker surgery, lobectomy surgery and two Impella pump surgeries; along with other medical procedures.
Our family and friends prayed and hoped that she'd pull through -- she fought so hard; but ultimately her little body had to find rest (all 5'-1" and 100 lbs. soaking wet).
Vicky was all about family, she was a devoted wife, mother, sister, friend. Her kind and positive personality and smart wit will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband Ben Lomeli, their daughter Karli, 24, and son Gabe, 20. Vicky's sister Susie and brother Mando join them in their loss and sadness.
Vicky lost her eldest son Andy in 2014 when he was just 34 years old. We find comfort in knowing that Andy was there to give his mom a big tight hug as she transitioned over to see him again.
We want to honor Vicky with the proper service she deserves. Sadly, savings have been depleted with medical costs, and life insurance was termed when Vicky lost her job of 25 years when her medical condition prevented her from returning to work.
HOW YOU CAN HELP: Your help with donations for funeral expenses will be an enormous relief of this financial burden during this difficult time. We appreciate your love and support so very much. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
DONATIONS:
- You can donate here on this GoFundMe page
- You can donate directly to Karli's Venmo account: karlidanikaa
- Donations are needed right away
- No donation too big or too small - every dollar will help
- Ben and Karli will manage the expenses and donations
- Spread the word: You can also help by sharing this page; it is greatly appreciated!
