Tala (14) and Malik (15) Al-Harazin, as well as their twin 12 year old siblings Judy and Zain, have been displaced multiple times over the last 1000 days, facing a lack of education and resources. Their lives have been uprooted by conflict, and for three years, they have been deprived of the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe environment. Despite these challenges, they remain determined to pursue their education and build a brighter future.

There is an no-cost accredited online program available to them, but they cannot access it without the necessary technology. A used 11” iPad costing $3200, along with textbooks and school supplies costing $400, would allow Tala and Malik to participate in classes, complete assignments, and connect with teachers and peers. Due to the siege on the borders and tightly controlled, very limited import of goods, the purchase of technology has become very expensive. With your help, they can finally return to learning and take steps toward their dreams.

I am Caroline Norman, a friend of the Al-Harazin family. I have been in near daily contact with the Al-Harazin family since August 2025. I am organizing this fundraiser in conjunction with their dad, Mohamed Al-Harazin. Funds will be transferred via Zelle to an American account which can then be transferred to Mohamed’s account with Bank of Palestine. This is a tried and tested way that I (Caroline Norman) have donated money to the Al-Harazin family previously.

The siege on Gaza, decimated infrastructure, and targeting of schools means local schooling options are extremely limited to nonexistent. Having access to online education through their own shared device will allow them to pursue their education despite repeated displacements and lack of local options.
