Hi everyone!

We’re raising funds for a volunteer-run animal shelter in my hometown in Ukraine. The organization, 4 Paws (or "4 лапи"), is a non-profit that relies entirely on public donations. Right now, they care for 20 cats and 28 dogs, all housed in a rented property in Cherkasy region.

The property owners have generously allowed the volunteers to use the house, since it had been unoccupied. However, they plan to sell it in the near future. That’s why we’re trying to raise funds to help the shelter purchase the home and make it a permanent safe haven for the animals.

The location is ideal — it’s close to a veterinary clinic and spacious enough to comfortably house all the animals. However, the building needs significant renovation, and the animals still require food and medical supplies. Any extra funds will go toward these ongoing needs.

We need to raise a total of $10,000. The volunteers have already saved about $4,000, so our goal for this fundraiser is $6,000.
