My dear friend Mark, who I have known for over 30 years, is facing the greatest challenge of his life. He was recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma Grade 4, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Mark had a tumor removed from his brain in August 2023. Unfortunately, Glioblastoma is fast-growing and it invades nearby brain tissue, making 100% removal nearly impossible.

Sadly, this life altering diagnosis has come at a time in Mark's life when he has been struggling financially, without family close by to provide support. His mother passed away from cancer a few years ago. She was previously predeceased by his father, who also passed away from cancer.

Mark may not be able to work in the near future and he cannot currently afford to be off work and not earn income.

Marks' family was very kind to me when I was younger, and I want to try to help ease Mark's financial burden so that he can focus on fighting his brain cancer.
