I want to start off by saying thank you for taking the time to read this and consider assisting our Julianna, our friend.
On January 9th around 7pm, during a massive rain storm in Sacramento, Ca, Julianna was driving down the Capital City Free way and was hit in a rear end accident. She and the other driver pulled over to exchange insurance information (with Julianna's hazard lights on). After she did this a second speeding and distracted vehicle HIT Julianna's car and the other driver's car. This wasn't bad enough, after Julianna got out of the way of the 2nd vehicle hitting her car, a 3rd vehicle (also speeding and tailgating the 2nd vehicle) who did not have time or distance to slow down ran directly into Julianna.....pinning her in between her vehicle and the 3rd drivers car and almost took her life.
She sustained severe injuries to her right leg and her abdomen. Her right leg muscle was ripped down to the femur bone in what is called a “de-gloving” and her abdomen was left with internal bleeding and damage to her bowels. She was rushed to the emergency room where she went several surgeries to control the internal bleeding and damage to her leg. She has had multiple follow up surgeries, hours of intensive physical therapy, fear of infection, skin grafting, etc with a lifetime to go. Her leg will never be the same, but it's a miracle Julianna is even alive today!!!
But before she can re-learn how to walk, and take care of her son, she needs to heal.
Since Julianna cannot work right now and disability can take up to two months to be pushed through, the last thing she needs to worry about is how to feed her child and keep a roof over her head and the lights on. So we are asking for you help. We are asking you to open your hearts and offer whatever assistance you can for this kind soul in this awful situation.
Julianna is a kind, compassionate, hard working 24 year old single mother of her son Malachi, who is only 3 years old and saw his mother hit by the 3rd vehicle. Please let's lighten the strain of finances even just a little and help this family in need!
Thank you and God Bless
