Around 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon, my father Herbert Wilson, was working on a job site. He was opening the door to a construction dumpster that was located in front of the house he was working at to begin throwing away debris from the site when a vehicle, coming the opposite direction of the the dumpster proceeded to completely cross over the center line in the road and hit my father. From what we can tell from witness accounts when he opened the door the car hit him and the dumpster door and then proceeded to leave the scene. After the incident my father was conscious, he was taken to the hospital where he later became unconscious and unresponsive. He sustained a severe brain injury, 2 fractures to his leg, road rash on his shoulders and backside and many cuts and bruises all over his body and face. As of right now, his prognosis is not good. Anything donated will go to helping Herb with any medical or related expenses.
