To most I am known as Charlene, but to my children: Carissa, Lily, Christa and Jordan, I am known as Mom, the one who has strong faith, comforts and tries to hold things together in life. On the night of May 28, 2023, I received a phone call that would forever change our future. The father of my children, Tim, had been in a bad motorcycle accident and because of a severe brain injury was not expected to make it through the night. He was pronounced dead the following day. This tragedy happened two and a half weeks after I was laid off early from a contracted tutoring position. Therefore, all income and child support stopped unexpectedly and immediately in the month of May. These sudden losses have caused my children and I to face emotional and financial hardship. Some needs that we currently have are a reliable family vehicle, gift cards for gas, school laptops, gift cards for clothing, etc.

After being a homemaker for 16 years and 13 years of homeschooling our children, I have been trying to get back into the workforce to provide for my family. Right now I also need to be there for our kids during this continued time of transition. While I am actively seeking employment and avenues of assistance, we are in a time of waiting. I know that the Lord will provide as He promises and that this is just a season. I am asking for you to please prayerfully consider blessing us as you feel led. No amount is too small to be blessed and be a blessing.
