Our family is facing something we never imagined, and we are asking for your support during the most difficult time of our lives.

Oliver just turned 3 years old. He is a happy, loving little boy who brings so much joy to everyone around him. He’s also a proud big brother to his 1-year-old sister, who absolutely adores him.

In what felt like the blink of an eye, everything changed.

After concerning symptoms—bruising and not feeling like himself—Oliver was taken for testing. Within days, our family received the devastating news: Oliver has leukemia.

He is now at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where an incredible team of doctors and nurses are caring for him. He has already undergone blood transfusions and extensive testing, and we are currently waiting to learn the exact type of leukemia so treatment can begin.

This is only the beginning of a long and difficult road.

His mom and dad- Jessica & Chris Soden are doing everything they can to stay strong, but no parent is ever prepared for something like this. Their focus right now needs to be 100% on Oliver—being by his side, supporting him through treatments, and helping him fight.

The reality is that the financial strain begins immediately.

Between hospital stays, travel back and forth, missed work, meals, and everyday household expenses, the burden adds up quickly—especially while also caring for their 1-year-old daughter at home.

We have set a goal to help support Oliver and his family during this time.

These funds will go toward:
• Travel to and from the hospital (gas, tolls, parking)
• Meals and daily living expenses during hospital stays
• Lost income from time away from work
• Childcare and support for Oliver’s little sister
• Medical-related costs not fully covered by insurance
• Monthly household bills to keep their home stable
