Help 3Co Recover From Cancer

We are raising money to support Raul “3Co” Delgado III as he receives ongoing medical treatment following recent surgeries for sarcoma - an aggressive, rare cancer of the bones and soft tissue.

At the time of his diagnosis, the cancer had wrapped around his left femur bone and intertwined with the soft tissue around it. He underwent 5 weeks of radiation treatment to shrink the tumor before surgery to remove it. 3Co’s first surgery, which was extensive, removed his left knee, femur bone, and vastus medalialis - one of the quad muscles. The doctors left a few inches of the femur bone intact, which was used to drill a cobalt rod into where the bone used to be.

3Co’s recovery has been delayed as he battles intense pain and infection. His most recent surgery took place in January, 2025 and will determine the path of future treatment (an additional surgery or amputation). His treatments remain ongoing and very expensive.

Raul is a good man. He served his country as a communications and navigation technician in the Marines from 1997-2001 working on the KC-130 Hercules aircraft. As a civilian he has been a part of F3 (free, outdoor, peer-led workouts) since 2019 and has led our region in several leadership roles since 2021. 3Co is dad to an honor roll student and husband to an amazing wife. He’s someone I’m proud to call friend and I know you would be too.
