Help 32 year old Alissia beat breast cancer

Hi, We have decided to start this fundraiser to help a very special family in need. After receiving similar support when we were facing the toughest moments in our life, we know what an impact it can have. Any donation, prayer and positive message makes a difference.

It was 6 weeks ago when Alissia was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer, at only 32 years old. It was the diagnosis that she always feared after her mother passed away from the disease only 4 years ago. With the cancer currently measuring 10cm, the doctors have quickly assigned 8 weeks of aggressive chemo which has just commenced. Following this cycle Alissia faces an additional 12 weeks of moderate chemo, a double mastectomy, lymph node removal and possible ovary removal. To top this off, 3 weeks of radiation can then commence and then years of hormone blockers welcoming early menopause and limiting any chance of having more children.

Alissia and her partner Daniel had thought that their life was falling into place, after recently becoming engaged and welcoming their gorgeous daughter, Georgia, in to the world. Alissia had started her own business too which has now had to be put on hold while she faces a hard 8 months ahead trying to beat this devastating disease. In addition to this, Alissia’s partner Daniel also works for himself and has had to reduce his availability for work so that he can care for his young family. So in addition to the emotional journey Alissia is on, they now also have the added pressure of limited income for the foreseeable future.

Alissia is an incredibly strong woman, mother and friend who is now advocating for breast cancer awareness in the hopes she can help others. Please spare anything you can to help another local family in need.
