Help 3 Kids Navigate Life Without Their Dad

Donation protected
(Español abajo) On December 27, Alfredo was driving on Riggs Road when he was targeted by ICE. They detained the devoted father of three, abandoned his vehicle, and sent him to a detention center in Michigan. Now his daughter (9yo) and his two sons (15 and 17) cannot visit him, and don’t know when or if they’ll get to see their father again. Their mother, Alexandra is working, but additional legal costs and the loss of Alfredo’s income has been difficult.

Their oldest child has considered leaving high school to work and help support the family. He dreams of becoming an engineer or a financial advisor to help families like his. His younger brother has autism and Alfredo took him to his appointments and supported him at home. Now Alexandra is struggling to manage caring for her children, work, and advocating for Alfredo’s release.

Help this family cover an unexpected and heartbreaking loss and allow their oldest to stay in school and pursue his dreams.

Funds raised will support the family in covering rent, utilities, and legal fees.

***The Prince George's County Immigrant Rights Collective (PGIRC) mobilizes resources to directly support immigrant families in our county that are impacted by ICE. There is extreme need across our community - PG IRC prioritizes fundraising for families that have children, at least one parent detained or deported by ICE, and that are struggling to make ends meet.***
