We've bought the boat, we've been on the courses, we're training, learning and planning hard. Now we need some help to get us to the start line!
We are doing this to test ourselves, both physically and mentally, and to raise awareness and funds for local and national cancer charities Prostate Cancer UK and Wolo Foundation.
It's going to take a lot of hard work and support to get us to the start line. Here's a summary of what we need.
- Race Training - £2,000
- Boat - £65,000
- Mandatory Courses - £3,000
- Race fees - £20,000
- Loose boat equipment - £10,000
- Shipping to La Gomera and return from Antigua - £11,500
- Race food and drinks - £6,000
- Insurance for the boat - £2,500
