My name is Dhiraj Rajbanshi, and I am raising funds for my sister, Arju Shrestha, who is only 26 years old.
A few months ago, Arju was diagnosed with cancer that started in the uterus and slowly spread to her stomach. She underwent 6 months of chemotherapy in Nepal, but later we discovered that her diagnosis was incorrect, and the entire treatment she went through was ineffective.
After months of pain, financial struggle, and emotional stress, Arju has now been taken to RGCIRC (Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre) in Delhi, where she is finally receiving the correct treatment. She has restarted chemotherapy under proper medical supervision.
However, the cost of treatment in Delhi is extremely high.
Her family is already financially exhausted after the first 6 months of treatment in Nepal, and now the expenses in India are far beyond their capacity.
Why I am organizing this fundraiser
GoFundMe is not available in Nepal, so I, Dhiraj, living in Toronto, Canada, am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my sister. All donations will be withdrawn into my Canadian account and sent directly to my sister’s family for her treatment in Delhi and Nepal. I will keep full transparency and share updates regularly.
Even a small contribution can help reduce the enormous financial burden on her family and give Arju a real chance at recovery.
Arju is young, strong, and determined to live. She deserves a chance to receive the right treatment and return home healthy.
If you are unable to donate, please share this fundraiser with others. Your prayers, support, and kindness mean more than you can imagine.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
