My name is Michael Angelo Zervos, a filmmaker based in the US, and in September 2024, I visited a rural Indian community in the Colony Pudur, Karamadai region to witness firsthand the conditions in which the people were living.

I was so impacted by the desperate need for help in the community for medical assistance that I wanted to do something about it. This is why I am partnering up with Coimbatore Metropolitan Round Table India 62 and Ladies Circle India 23 to help fundraise for a new sub-health center in the Colony Pudur area west of Coimbatore.

This sub-health center will service 2,000 people within the area and help alleviate the difficulty of traveling one and a half hours to the nearest city hospital.

Though our fundraising efforts are ambitious, both organizations have a proven track record of building infrastructure facilities throughout the Coimbatore region. Below is a primary school built in Vadamadurai, Coimbatore.

All funds will go to the estimated costs of building the sub-health center in Colony Pudur, Tholampalayam-Karamadai.
