Help 2.5 Year-Old Liza Fight a rare brain tumor

Hi,

My name is Andrea, I'm fundraising for Liza’s life-saving medical treatment.

Liza is just 2.5 years old and is fighting for her life in Hungary.
Four months ago, Liza was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive malignant brain tumor called Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG). Sadly, this type of tumor cannot be surgically removed, and without further treatment her chances of survival are very limited. To give her hope, urgent treatment is required.

So far, Liza has already undergone:
  • 30 radiotherapy treatments
  • 3 cycles of chemotherapy

Despite her strength, these treatments are no longer enough. At this stage, Liza’s only remaining chance is a targeted therapy available only abroad.

Why we need help

The life-saving targeted medication is currently only available in the United State and it costs far beyond what the family can manage alone, which is why we are reaching out for support.

About Liza

Liza was born, along with her twin sister. In August 2025, Liza suddenly developed a facial nerve paralysis, which doctors initially believed would be temporary. When her condition did not improve and her right eye turned inward, urgent examinations were carried out.

An MRI scan and subsequent biopsy confirmed a rare and malignant brain tumor. Following the procedure, Liza experienced paralysis on her left side, which has been partially rehabilitated. However, paralysis of the right side of her face and loss of eye movement remain.

Thank you for your kindness and support!
