Help D Transition and Escape Abuse & Homelessness

Hi, everyone. I’ve started this fundraiser because I currently live in a violently abusive and transphobic home. I’ve been working to get out of this situation for years. I’ve had jobs before, but nothing was helping me raise and save enough money to move as well as fund my transition. So, even though I really didn’t want to, I decided to start this GoFundMe so that I can escape my abusive family. I currently live with my family in Texas. They are very violently abusive. Over the years, this situation has just gotten worse: My family also doesn’t support my transition and they have been violent towards me due to the way I am. I am not safe here. I’m scared that my family will find this fundraiser, so that’s why I don’t post my face. The money I fundraise will mostly go towards rent as I am looking to move to NYC once I meet my goal, and it will also go towards my transition and my other basic needs.

Housing
Gender-Affirming Surgeries
Food
Voice therapy
Name and gender marker change
Safe transportation 
Insurance
Bills
And other basic needs
