Help 2 yr old Walter have a fighting chance

Walter was brought to Pet Pal Veterinary Clinic on 1/18/21 for a possible UTI. The vet sent me home with antibiotics and pain relief/anti-inflammatory. I was not given a disclaimer on either medications. - one of which would soon cause Walter severe kidney problems.
Yesterday, Walter stopped eating and drinking. He vomitted foam and bile and became very out of it and clumsy. When I took him back today, a new doctor at Pet Pal ran bloodwork and told me his kidneys are not working properly and I needed to rush him to Blue Pearl immediately.
Blue Pearl now has Walter under their care for the next 3 days. The doctor let me know that the medication Walter was given, Meloxicam, can have severe side effects in cats and is not admistered without a disclaimer before dispatch. He know has to be hospitalized for 3+ days in hopes of flushing his system and was given a 50% chance of survival.
Pet Pal is not taking responsiblity. The Executive Director told me he cannot "speak on this, because he is not a vet" he just simply runs a non-profit.
I am not asking for anymore than what I have paid already for his bills. Today it has increased to over $5k - money that I simply do not have. I just want Walter to have a real chance at getting better. He is only 2 years old and was already given a second chance at life after being tossed off a bridge when he was a baby. Please help if you can - Hobbs and I miss him so much.
