Help 2 basketball players represent GB at World Championship

Hi everyone!

We’re Polly and Vikki, two passionate basketball players with the incredible honour of representing Great Britain in the FIMBA Over-35 Women’s National Team this year!

We’ve dedicated years to this sport—balancing careers, families, and everyday life—all for the love of basketball. Now, we’ve been selected to wear the GB jersey on the international stage at the FIMBA Maxibasketball World Championship. It’s an amazing achievement, and we’re beyond proud to represent our country.

However, as FIMBA GB is entirely self-funded, we’re reaching out for your support. Every expense—flights, accommodation, uniforms, and training—is paid out of our own pockets. That’s why we’ve launched this GoFundMe: to help us get to Ticino, Switzerland, compete at the highest level, and inspire the next generation of female athletes.
