Help 1Up Crew rep the Bay Area in New York!

Hey there, it's 1Up Crew. We are honored to be selected to compete at the Prelude New York Dance Competition on March 30th, 2024, where we will be bringing some serious Bay Area swag to the East Coast!

We are a traveling competition team that focuses on bringing awareness to the Bay Area dance community. We are dedicated to showcasing the culture, foundation, and history of dance styles such as locking, popping, turfing, afro dance, krump, and house. Dance has had a huge impact on our lives, and our purpose is to share our art with as many people as possible.

1Up Crew is a foundation-based freestyle and choreography dance crew established in early March of 2013 in Oakland, CA. The crew was started by two friends–Tarik Rollerson & Hollis Contreras–who wanted to achieve more in dance through their vision of providing an experience on stage. 1Up Crew strives to live up to their name and level up as a crew with each performance.
