1LT Marciano “Marco” Parisano, West Point class of 2023, passed away on May 3rd, 2025, while stationed at Soto Cano Air Base in Honduras.
1LT Parisano was a native of Cibolo, Texas, and entered the United States Military Academy in 2019. He graduated in 2023 with a bachelor's in engineering management.
During his time at the Academy, 1LT Parisano was a valued member of Company B2 and D1. He held various positions over the years but finished his time at West Point as the D1 Company Commander.
After graduating from West Point, 1LT Parisano was stationed at Fort Novosel, AL, where he completed his flight training and selected the UH-60 Blackhawk as his airframe. After flight training, Parisano was stationed at Soto Cano Air Base in Honduras, where he sadly passed away.
1LT Parisano had just proposed to his girlfriend 2 weeks before his passing.
“Marco was one of the most amazing people I had the pleasure of knowing. He brightened up any room he was in and made all of our lives better for knowing him. His soldiers, classmates, and friends thought the world of him. We have not only lost an incredible officer and pilot, but also a cherished brother,” say those close to him.
1LT Parisano is survived by his parents, three siblings, and fiancée.
