EDIT: Thanks to everybody's donations plus FEMA money, I've covered the cost of the tree removal and only need to pay a contractor for ceiling and roof repair. I'll be changing the donation goal accordingly.

Legendary and beloved underground musician @1djhelix needs YOUR help!

I'm Beau, aka @1djhelix. When hurricane helene hit my hometown Waycross, GA, I had a massive pine fall onto my house, opening my roof up and doing internal damage to two separate rooms. The front end of my car was also crushed, and there was significant damage from 3 other fallen trees in my yard. As I'm making this gofundme I'm projected to not have power for 6 more days because of all the tree damage, so I'm running everything off of a cell phone plugged into a generator.

My current cost is $5000 for tree removal and cleanup plus whatever price the contractors give me for the internal damage to the house and roof. I'll be setting my initial gofundme goal at $9k to have wiggle room in case the damage to the house is worse than it seems right now.
