Help 19 Year Old Trans Woman Get Away From Abuse

Hi, my name is Hailey and I need your help. I am reaching out on behalf of my best friend, Brooke, who has been through what feels like endless amounts of abuse throughout her childhood. Brooke is now in desperate need of support so she can rebuild her life and break free from this cycle her mother created.

A few weeks ago, Brooke made the decision to finally move out of her her parents' house, where she faced daily emotional abuse, mostly from her mother who constantly degraded her and called her worthless, and even told her she hoped she would commit suicide, even at times telling her "if you're gonna do it, make sure to go vertical, not horizontal." Her mother constantly pushed fear into her, warning her of what could happen the moment she left to live in another home such as human trafficking, murder, and rape. Despite their intimidation tactics, Brooke was still determined to leave, despite sometimes having worries and fearing that her mother was able to completely control her emotions and thoughts.

Tust today at around 2 AM (7/9/23), the abuse reached it's peak. Brooke's parents discovered that she was planning to move in with another trans woman in a different state just so that she could get away from her family. This caused her parents to freak out. They barged into her room and told her that she was dead to them, the person she was moving in with wasn't even human, and that they were a "bald headed rat thing" saying "that is an it! That is not a person!" They also stated that they wished they could "beat the everlasting shit out of her" and at one point her dad grabbed her and said "what can I do to her" insinuating that he wanted to really hurt her. As a result, Brooke is now in urgent need to create a fresh start in a new state, far away from this horrendously toxic enviroment. On the bright side, she is currently moving away with the friend like before, but the pain doesn't stop there. To make matters worse, Brooke's parents have taken away her access to Hormone Replacement Therapy, an essential medical treatment for her gender dysphoria and suicidal ideation. They also ended up taking all of her guitars and amps, and destroying many of her belongings that she still hadn't packed in an attempt to destroy her dreams.

This abuse has been going on for such a long time with her mother saying things such as "You're jealous of me because you know you'll never look like me", and also calling her a demon whenever there is the slightest disagreement between them. Brooke has not done anything wrong to deserve this kind of treatment, so with that I ask if you could please assist us in raising money for her so that she can avoid anymore financial stress. She is currently without any health insurance, and is essentially stuck being reliant on others. I'm sure she would be more than thankful for any donations.
