help 17 year old shot in crowd at music event

On October 27, 2024 My son Nate was Attending a music event in Medford Oregon when a horrific event took place leaving him injured with a long road to recovery.

At the end or the event an angry individual opened fire on security shooting several bullets towards the event and a crowd of people. My son and one other individual where hit by these bullets. Nate who is only 17 was shot in the center of his chest and the bullet traveled about 12 inches through his body stopping in his shoulder. The bullet struck a necklace my son had on that carried my fathers ashes and went to the left. It is by the grace of god that it missed not only his heart as well other vital parts. The bullet is now sitting in his shoulder and is causing him a lot of discomfort. This has left him without the ability to do normal things like getting dressed without pain. Nate will have to have another surgery to remove to bullet when his body heals a little which will leave him down for even longer. He is no longer able to work detailing cars or even do basic thing like sweep his room.

As his mother and caregiver I have missed a lot of work as well as will be missing a lot in the future when he has to get it removed. I am setting up this fundraiser to help with everything.
