Delayna Gordon is a 16-year-old in urgent need of support for eye surgery. Delayna shared her situation on social media while seeking help, and this fundraiser is to help her get the care she needs as soon as possible.

After having nose surgery to remove a cyst, Delayna began experiencing serious problems with her right eye. What started as a watery, painful eye grew into a large mass that is now affecting her vision and causing ongoing pain and discomfort. She has since lost vision in the affected eye and is currently awaiting biopsy results from Miami.

At just 16, Delayna is dependent on her mother, who is a single mother also caring for Delayna's younger sibling. Delayna should be focused on university and her dream of becoming a nurse, not worrying about whether she will be able to receive the treatment she desperately needs. This has placed a heavy burden on their family at a time when the focus should be on Delayna's health and getting her the treatment she needs without delay.
