Help 15 Rescue Cats Fight FeLV & Severe Illness—Urgent Vet Bills Due Now
Right now, 15 of the sweetest cats you could ever meet are fighting for their lives—and they need your help.
At Long Beach Felines Cat Rescue & Rehoming, we believed we were giving these cats a path to loving homes. Instead, we found ourselves in the middle of a devastating medical crisis involving feline leukemia (FeLV) and severe conditions like stomatitis.
These cats didn’t get the easy path.
But they are still here. Still loving. Still trying.
A Difficult Truth
This has been a devastating time for our rescue.
We have already lost nine cats to this outbreak—each one loved, each one deeply missed.
We are determined to do everything we can for the ones still here.
The Cats You’re Helping
Ben
A quiet, gentle soul who was left in a carrier as a kitten. He warms up beautifully and loves other cats. Despite testing FeLV+, he’s currently bright-eyed and doing well.
Buckle
A big, soft-hearted boy who leans into affection once he feels safe. He loves other cats and is rarely found without a cuddle buddy.
Clark
Once the tiniest kitten who wasn’t thriving, Clark needed extra care just to get his start. Now he’s playful, happy, and full of life.
Donut
A playful little leader who brings everyone together. He loves other cats, craves attention, and somehow always ends up at the center of the cuddle pile.
Ollie, Twinkie & Pinto
What started as one adoption became a promise to three.
Ollie was once a healthy resident cat—until Twinkie came into his life. After adoption, Twinkie was found to be FeLV+, and Ollie was exposed. Their person chose love again and brought in Pinto, who was already FeLV+, so the brothers could stay together.
Ollie is sadly declining, but still surrounded by love. Twinkie and Pinto are still playful, happy, and full of life.
Potter
A big, fun-loving boy who knows how to enjoy life—play hard, nap hard, and never miss a good meal. Full of personality and charm.
Siobhan
The tiniest little girl with the sweetest, softest voice. She’s playful, affectionate, and the unofficial spokesperson of the group.
Saturn
A true Velcro kitty who wants to be as close to you as possible at all times. Affectionate, playful, and deeply connected to her people.
Turk
One of the more delicate cats, facing ocular challenges, but still showing up for life every day. He loves food, affection, and staying part of the group.
Marjery
Once fragile and struggling, Marjery blossomed with extra care. Now she’s bright, playful, and full of life.
Polly
A quiet hero.
While nursing her six kittens, Polly endured major surgery for intestinal intussusception (losing 10 inches of intestine), a ruptured mammary gland, and severe stomatitis. Even through pain, she never stopped being a mother.
Now facing FeLV, she remains gentle, dignified, and full of quiet love.
Nibbles (Lady Nibblesworth of Downtown)
A regal, older girl who overcame severe stomatitis and a long decline. Now affectionate and even playful again, she reminds us that it’s never too late for a comeback.
