Hi, my name is Beth Schaedel, and I’m reaching out on behalf of an incredible young man my nephew Colten Gilbert and his parents Jamie and Jon Gilbert, Larry Whitgrove and the rest of our extended families. At just 14 years old, Colten is facing a life-threatening challenge: his kidneys are failing, and he urgently needs a transplant.

Despite his diagnosis, Colten continues to show remarkable strength, courage, and his sense of humor that lifts everyone around him. He loves football and hanging out with friends, and he has dreams of becoming a nurse practitioner, an athletic trainer, or even a broadcaster.
