Hello my name is Shakella W. and our family needs your help. My 14 year old son, Jeremiah, was in a horrible car accident that changed all of our lives in an instant. He suffered a traumatic brain injury, a neck fracture, and a pelvic fracture, and right now he is fighting every day to get better.

Jeremiah has always been the kind of kid who loves to joke and laugh, dance around the house, play football, and game with his brothers and sisters. He is the fifth of six children and brings joy to everyone around him. Seeing my son in a hospital bed instead of out there living his life has been heartbreaking for our family.

The medical bills are already overwhelming, and the long road ahead, including surgeries, rehabilitation, specialized therapy, and follow up care, is going to cost much more than we can handle alone. As his mother, I want to do everything possible to give him the best chance at recovering and living a full life again.
