At just 13 years old, Summer Rackley was recently selected to represent Australia as the youngest of five Australian female athletes in Vert Skateboarding at the World Skate Games in Rome, Italy, where she finished 19th in the world. A week later, she secured a podium finish in Montreal, Canada, where she was an invited athlete to compete at the Jackalope Fest.

Summer currently attends high school at Level Up AUS Academy in Currumbin, QLD, where aspiring action sports athletes like her train in world-class facilities. She trains for an average of 4-6 hours per day, 6 days a week, under the guidance of top coaches. Her dedication and hard work have seen her skateboarding skills soar, and she is now one of a select few skaters to land the 540 McTwist. This relentless commitment has made her a top competitor on the world stage.

Summer is also the current Australian Women’s Bowl Skateboarding CHAMPION.

These incredible achievements are just the beginning of what could be a long and successful international skateboarding career. However, as Summer continues to compete at world events, the costs of travelling to these and the schooling fees at Level Up AUS Academy and are starting to add up. Summer has received support from local Cabarita Beach skate shop, Pyramid Skate and has recently acquired several sponsors from Skate Brands who provide their products as needed including skateboards, wheels, apparel, shoes, but no financial support to attend events.

With your help, Summer can continue to chase her dream of competing on the world stage at future international competitions and potentially the 2028 LA Olympics. Funds raised will go directly towards travel, competition fees, insurance, and accommodation for upcoming events in the USA and beyond.
