Hello everyone,
My name is Valeria Darie, and I’m organizing this fundraiser to help a wonderful 13-year-old girl named Eva. Eva is a bright, kind, and creative child who dreams of simple things — singing, drawing, spending time with her friends, and enjoying life. But right now, she lives every day in constant, severe back pain.
Her condition is progressing quickly, and doctors have warned that without urgent spinal surgery, she may lose the ability to walk. The cost of the surgery and the necessary implants is 100,000 moldavian lei — an amount far beyond what her family can afford.
This complex operation can only be performed in Moldova by Dr. Nicolae Shavga, a highly skilled surgeon, orthopedic and vertebrologist, known for his experience in delicate spinal surgeries.
Eva lives with her mother, Mariana, a single mom who has been fighting her own serious spinal conditions (spina bifida and spondylolisthesis). Despite her pain, Mariana never gives up — she lives and fights every day for her daughter. But facing such a large expense alone is impossible.
Eva is her mother’s whole world — her light, her reason to keep going. All Eva wants is to live without pain, to walk, to dance, to hug her mom while standing on her own feet.
Eva also loves to draw. Her art reflects her gentle heart and her dreams of a beautiful, pain-free life. I will share one of her drawings here in this fundraiser — a small piece of her world, filled with hope.
I’m asking for your help. Every donation, no matter how small, brings Eva one step closer to a healthy and happy life. Together, we can give her the chance to grow up, to learn, to create, and to smile without fear.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, compassion, and support.
With love and gratitude,
Valeria Darie
