Help 13 Year Old Ahmad Raise Funds for his Heart

Hi my name is Ayla Ghrawi and I am the fundraiser director at Iqraa Youth Organization. We are fundraising for Ahmad who was born in 2008 with a congenital heart defect, known as Tetralogy of Fallot.

This happens when a baby’s heart does not form correctly as it develops in the mother’s womb during the pregnancy.

 

Ahmad had his first surgery when he was only 35 days old, his body did not bear the pressure and the surgery failed.

They then had to do an open-heart surgery when he was 7 months to fix the problem.

 

Continued with a 3rd surgery when he was 2 years old because of a 5cm hole in the heart.

 

As he always had this heart defect, Ahmad is currently no longer able to breathe properly. His heart arteries are closing and he is slowly losing the ability to get the oxygen flow from his heart to his lungs.

Ahmad is now in dire need of help as his heart is failing. We urge you to make a donation to help live a long life as every child deserves.

 

SURGERY COSTS:

 

The cost of the surgery is 37 million LBP

A donor donated 4 million LBP & the Iqraa family was able to give the mother 5 million LBP.

 

Leaving around 27 million LBP pound left to pay.

 

EVERY $10 USD is 120K LBP.

 

Due to COVID-19, he was unable to do the surgery as the hospitals were full and had no financial assistance.

 

His situation is worsening day by day.

 

We are looking to help collect 2,335 dollars USD to give to his mother in order to get his surgery.
