Help 13 Story Bathtub go to Globals

13 Story Bathtub is a Destination Imagination (DI) team comprised of seven super smart and amazing 5th grade girls. DI is a creative problem-solving program that blends science and art. Kids choose a challenge and have to incorporate several different requirements into a performance. Their challenge required them to use principles of science to move a carnival attraction that they find in an unlikely place.  They also do an instant challenge that required excellent team work, creativity and quick and patient decision making skills. Decisions can only be made by kids.

13 Story Bathtub competed at their Regional tournament--and took second in their challenge and school level and were invited to the State Tournament. At State, they took 3rd in their challenge and school level and were invited to the Global Competition in Knoxville, Tennessee where teams come from all over the world.  Receiving an invitation to Globals is a real honor. Each fall, there are more than 15,000 teams across the globe that jump into DI. Only 1,500 are invited to Globals. 

The girls are fundraising to defer some of the costs to the tournament. They are hoping to raise as much as possible of their entrance fees: $750/girl.
