Help 11-month old Elise Fight Cancer
Donation protected
Hi everyone! I'm Montsie Guerrero and I am fundraising for my 11-month old goddaughter Elise Christine Gaston, nicknamed "the feisty cat" according to her big brother Lucas. A few months ago, a tumor was detected near Elise's spine/kidney area and she was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a type of cancer. The tumor has affected her bodily functions, giving her difficulties in urinating. Consequently, she has been attached to a catheter in order to drain her bladder. She has also begun chemotherapy. While the news has been absolutely heartbreaking for her family, we remain hopeful that she will recover from this.
According to Elise's mom, April, Elise's medical treatments (routine checkups, chemotherapy, possible surgery for tumor removal) are expected to roll into the following year and may result in exorbitant costs that are not entirely covered by her family's medical insurance. April and her husband Phil are both public school teachers in New York City who work full-time with students who have special needs. They are both hardworking and cheerful individuals who have committed their lives to their two children. Elise's brother, Lucas, misses his sister and wishes she can finally come home for good. I am asking for your kind generosity to support Elise's fight against cancer with your donation. We are targeting December 16th, Elise's 1st birthday as the deadline. Thank you! Please keep Elise in your prayers and God bless.
