HELP 11 YEAR OLD LOGAN WITH THE LOSS OF HIS DAD

 

 

How does one cope with the loss of a father at a young age? Logan's father was taken from us unexpectedly and suddenly in a tragic motorcycle accident on August 12th, 2021. I am attempting to give Logan a head start at a confusing and tragic time as he is also battling Covid-19. Logan is the oldest of Travis's four children. He lives with his mother Hayley who is pursuing her master's degree. Travis met his wife Sarah a little while after Logan was born and the transformation and happiness Travis felt would produce three more beautiful children. Logan's birth changed his father Travis in a way that I have never seen in anyone. Travis took the pain of not growing up with his dad and put all that emotion and energy into his children to give them the life he believed they deserved. Travis made a decision to have a child and when he put his mind to something a lot of hard work and dedication followed. This was a truly beautiful evolution of a young man becoming a great father, husband and brother. Externally the journey would slowly materialize in way far beyond imagination and expectation. Internally it was immediate and he voiced his excitement. Travis started reading baby books and figuring out how to create the most meaningful bond he could with the most important person in his life, his son Logan. He would emphasize the importance of skin to skin contact and how important first thing when he was born that he would hold him close to his heart.

 

 

    Logan would always be the spark that lit up his eye and began the most spectacular journey I've seen a man make. Travis was dedicated to being a great father, shortly after Logan was born. Travis would meet his loving wife Sarah who would give him three more beautiful children. Logan is with his mother Hayley and I don't want to see his pain and struggles to be minimized or overshadowed. Travis lives on through Logan. Logan and his father played banjo, guitar, went crabbing and fishing together and loved to go camping. Logan spends his time playing his father's banjo and guitar as he copes with the grief. But the needs for Logan extend into expensive territory when it comes to the proper guidance and recovery through healthy professional guidance as he attempts to model himself after his father. The financial impact is unforgiving and imminent as the emotional healing begins. I want you to play a helping hand in Logan’s opportunity for the best possible chance at a positive outcome.
