My name is Prince, and I recently learned about a brave 10-year-old girl named Maryam who has truly touched my heart. Maryam is the niece of a close friend of mine, and she is currently in the United States seeking urgent medical care that is not available in her home country of Pakistan.
Maryam was born with a rare and complex medical condition called complex cloacal malformation and hydrocolpos (a birth defect where the urinary, reproductive, and intestinal systems are joined into one channel, causing serious health problems that require multiple highly specialized surgeries).
Her parents, who do not come from wealth, have sacrificed everything to make this trip possible. They left behind their younger daughter in Pakistan with extended family so they could bring Maryam here in hopes of giving her the chance at a healthier future.
I met Maryam just a few days ago, and I was absolutely amazed by her spirit. Despite the challenges she faces daily, she radiates energy, joy, and warmth. She laughed, smiled, and carried herself like any other 10-year-old—sometimes shy, sometimes funny, always full of life. You would never guess the weight of what she is going through.
As a father myself to a 3-year-old daughter, I was deeply moved by Maryam. No child should have to face such hardship at such a young age, and no parent should have to struggle alone to provide lifesaving care for their child.
This is where we can help.
The funds raised here will go directly toward:
• Covering Maryam’s upcoming surgeries and medical expenses in the U.S.
• Supporting her family with living costs while they remain here for her treatment.
• Ensuring Maryam has the chance to heal and live a fuller, healthier childhood.
Every contribution—no matter how small—will make a real difference in Maryam’s life. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page with your community so her story can reach more people willing to help.
Together, we can give Maryam the future she deserves.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness and support.
