Heath Pittman, a fifth grader from Portville, NY, recently received the devastating news that he has cancer for the second time; this time osteosarcoma, a bone cancer.
When Heath was only four years old he was diagnosed with embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma cancer, an aggressive, malignant soft tissue cancer, most common in children.
The fighter that he is, Heath beat that cancer and was in remission for four years. Now he is in the fight of his life again with a different type of cancer.
We have created this GoFundMe to help Heath and his family during this difficult time. We don't want them to worry about any expenses and want them to focus on getting Heath better.
Heath has been through more than any child should and even being in remission has its obstacles.
After already enduring 42 weeks of chemo, 30 radiation treatments, four surgeries, six months of maintenance chemo, countless scans and tests, hospital stays, ER visits neuropathy, severe side effects, foot drop, stress fractures, and more pokes than anyone should have to count, he endured 531 days of fighting for his life already and will now have to endure it all over again.
Please consider making a donation to help Heath at this difficult time.
