Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out with love and humility on behalf of Ms. May T. Sheppard, a remarkable woman who will be 102 in October if it’s the Lord’s will. Ms. May has lived through more than a century of change, challenge, and perseverance. She has been a devoted Christian, a sister in Christ, and a friend, and now she needs our help. Ms. May never had children, and we are unaware of any living relatives.

Ms. May currently lives in a caring and supportive assisted living home in Goose Creek, SC, where she receives the attention and medical assistance she needs. It’s a place that feels like home to her, where she’s made friends and is treated with dignity and compassion. However, the monthly cost of her care is $3,800—an amount that far exceeds her limited income and savings.

Despite every effort to make ends meet, Ms. May’s financial resources are quickly running out. Her caretaker and friends are doing all they can, but the costs are overwhelming. That’s why we’re turning to the generosity of this community.

Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward covering Ms. May’s assisted living expenses, ensuring she continues to live in a safe, stable, and familiar environment during the remaining years God has for her.
