Donation protected
My family is in urgent need of funds for specialized medical help for my 10 year old son Dylan and for living expenses.

A few months ago Dylan was a healthy, happy and strong 5th grader--now he can't walk and can barely talk or communicate, won't open his eyes and he's in constant pain.
He's always been sweet and funny--loved to act silly and he's the kid that gets along with everyone. He used to love playing Minecraft with his friends and building cool stuff with Legos. He is a high belt in Taekwondo and was a gifted student--he really liked being in Lego League which is an elementary school robotics program. Dylan has been a Cub Scout since 1st grade and should have transitioned to Boy Scouts last month. He loved playing with our dogs and is very much a Dog Person.

He also liked bickering with his older sister--which was so annoying but now I miss it. Now he's so miserable that he's unable to do anything besides lay on the sofa with the TV on.
He started having severe stomach pain off and on in the fall of 2019. Right after Thanksgiving, it became constant and he started having neurological symptoms--headaches, dizziness, weakness, fatigue, sensitivity to light and more. Right after Christmas, his symptoms increased in severity and he began to decline very quickly. After seeing many doctors and being hospitalized at a university children's hospital, we still don't know what's causing this.
I am his mother and I've had to stop working to care for him--I've used all of my leave taking him to appointments and now have to stay home to care for him full time--so I'm no longer getting paid and I have two kids to provide for.
We need these emergency funds immediately before he declines further to take Dylan to a specialized doctor that we think can unravel this mystery. There will be lots of testing and follow up visits and overnight out of town travel to see the specialist. We also need help covering basic living expenses while I'm caring for Dylan and unable to work.
Dylan is such a sweet beautiful soul and has so much to offer this world.
Our family appreciates each and every donation--no matter the amount--every bit helps and we thank you for sharing your love with us in this way. We also appreciate all prayers, positive thoughts and well wishes.
