My name is Allison Pearce. I am a Jamaican and currently living in Jamaica.

I would like to raise funds to support the relief efforts for Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa. Specifically, I would like to help 10 families who lost most or all their things in the storm, in a meaningful way; not just providing a meal for a few days, but to help them get back to some semblance of their former lives. I am targeting mainly single mothers and the elderly to provide food, clothing, medication, and building materials. I intend to help strangers. I will be looking for persons who have lost their belongings, not anyone I know, but people who will be identified based on the scale of their of loss.

I will prepare a report on the activities that the funds sponsor and who the recipients are. Please help, any contribution counts.
