Iker’s racing journey started when he was just 3 years old. By age 6, he had already become Sub Champion of Valencia, and at only 7 years old, he was crowned Champion of Catalunya in the Pre-Mini category.

Karting is not just a sport for Iker — it’s his dream. Sadly, last year he lost his beloved Nana, who was not only his number one fan but also the one who helped fund his racing journey. With her passing, we faced both emotional and financial struggles, and Iker wasn’t able to race as much.

Now at 9 years old, Iker has stepped up into the next karting category. This exciting move also means higher costs, and the biggest expense right now is a new engine, which is essential for him to keep competing at the next level. Upgrading equipment and covering race fees quickly add up, and this is where we’re asking for support.

When he’s not on the track, Iker enjoys walking his dog and even helps keep the local fields tidy. He’s a kind-hearted, hardworking boy who lives and breathes racing.

Història:

El camí de l’Iker en el món del kàrting va començar quan només tenia 3 anys. Als 6 anys ja s’havia proclamat Subcampió de València, i amb només 7 anys va ser coronat Campió de Catalunya en la categoria Pre-Mini.

El kàrting no és només un esport per a l’Iker — és el seu somni. Malauradament, l’any passat va perdre la seva estimada àvia, que no només era la seva fan número u, sinó també qui ajudava a finançar el seu camí en les curses. Amb la seva pèrdua vam viure moments molt difícils, tant emocionals com econòmics, i l’Iker no va poder competir tant com hauria volgut.

Ara, amb 9 anys, l’Iker ha fet el salt a la següent categoria de kàrting. Aquest pas tan emocionant també comporta més despeses, i la més gran ara mateix és un motor nou, essencial perquè pugui continuar competint al màxim nivell. L’actualització de l’equip i la inscripció a les curses suposen un gran cost, i és aquí on demanem la vostra ajuda.

Quan no és al circuit, a l’Iker li agrada passejar el seu gos i fins i tot ajuda a mantenir els camps locals nets. És un nen bondadós, treballador i que viu i respira per les curses.
