Football at the youth and high school level is dying. The number of players are dwindling due to all the news about concussions.  Concussions are an issue in  many sports but there is new technology available to help prevent many of these injuries.
My son plays football in high school and I see first hand some of the older, out dated equipment that is being used. I am fortunate enough to be able to buy a Virginia Tech 5 star rated helmet for my son, but some parents are not. 
I am appealing to those who love the game of football to contribute so I (we) can purchase some of these new technology helmets and help protect the developing brains of these fine young men and women.  Who knows you might be helping the next great football player.
