I’m fundraising for my sister Mais Alastal in Gaza who's in deep trouble, she's 8 months pregnant with two kids, so I'm hoping people can help out, I’m trying to raise money for her to evacuate to Egypt. She needs at least 20,000$ to evacuate from Gaza.
Mais’s family is deeply grateful for your immense support, which has enabled them to be included in the registration list for evacuation. However, they are still awaiting their turn as there are numerous others already registered and awaiting evacuation. Additionally, Mays has significant concerns about giving birth in Gaza while they wait. As a backup plan, they have been in communication with medical centers around their camp, but the situation remains uncertain and no guarantees can be made. Concerns about the birth situation were shared with an Egyptian travel company by their friends. The company indicated that Mays's family would need to pay $2500 for the baby, broken down as follows: 1. Coordination fees: $17500 2. $5000 each for Mays and her husband 3. $2500 for each of the two children and the expected baby 4. If Mays's family is able to evacuate before the birth, they would need to pay an additional $3000 for medical and birthing fees, as medical support is not covered for non-Egyptian citizens.
