Hallo, mein Name ist Celina und ich sammel Geld um die Tierarzt-Kosten meiner Katze Luni zu zahlen.

Kurzfassung:

Luni hat eine Raumforderung in der Leber. Vielleicht Krebs, vielleicht was anderes. Um das zu wissen und sie entsprechend behandeln zu können benötigt Luni diverse Diagnostik, unter anderem ein CT für allein 1800€.

Eigentlich sollte es nur eine Zahnstein-Entfernung werden. Um die Narkosefähigkeit zu prüfen nahm der Tierarzt Blut ab und stellte dort massiv erhöhte Leber- und Bauchspeicheldrüsenwerte fest. Auch hatte Luni bereits leicht gelbe Haut an den Öhrchen. Ein Ultraschall zeigte eine entzündete Leber- und Bauchspeicheldrüse. Zusätzlich wurde im Dentalröntgen FORL festgestellt und einige Zähne gezogen. Da es Luni wie immer ging, haben wir damir nicht gerechnet. Laut der Ärztin waren die Werte so schlecht, dass Luni‘s guter Zustand ein medizinisches Wunder wäre. Die Behandlung bestand jedoch nur aus Antibiotika und eine Kontrolle der Werte in 3-4 Wochen.

Da mir das komisch vorkam, ging ich mit Luni in die Tierklinik. Dort wollten die Ärzte eine Kontrolle der Werte und einen erneuten Ultraschall machen. Leider ging das nur als Abgabetermin, sodass meine kleine ängstliche Katze von 8-16 Uhr alleine beim Arzt warten musste.

Dann der Schock: Der Arzt stellte eine Raumforderung in der Leber von circa 2cm Größe fest. Sie wollen Luni in Narkose legen, den Bauch aufschneiden und eine Probe der Raumforderung nehmen… eine Feinnadelbiopsie ohne Narkose sei zu ungenau. Allerdings soll Luni zwei Tage vor OP bereits stationär für eine Infusionstherapie kommen. Daheim der nächste Schock; Luni‘s Schwanz, Hinterteil und Hinterbeine waren voller getrocknetem Kot. Wie kann das vor Ort nicht auffallen? Für mich stand fest: dort kann ich meine Katze nicht zwei Tage stationär lassen. Am Freitag haben wir nun einen Termin in einer Praxis mit viel Diagnostik. Dort steht ein CT und vielleicht noch weitere Sachen an. Allein das CT kostet 1800€. Bis jetzt bin ich mit Zahn-OP und allem bereits bei über 2500€ und damit leider am Ende meiner Rücklagen.. Daher meine Bitte: Helft mir Luni‘s Kosten zu decken.

Mit gerade mal 7 ist sie viel zu jung für das Ganze..

Luni haben wir vor mittlerweile 4 Jahren adoptiert. Sie kam aus einem Privathaushalt wo sie so sehr von einem Kater gemobbt wurde, dass sie bei Wind und Wetter auf dem Balkon lebte. Sobald sie in die Wohnung trat, verbiss sich der Kater so in ihr dass sie um Hilfe schrie. Die erste Nacht bei uns hat sie sich ängstlich unter dem Sofakissen vergraben und sich dort sogar eingenässt, weil sie sich nicht raustraute. Als sie nach 3 Tage merkte, dass der Kater nicht mit ihr umgezogen ist, kam sie zu uns und kuschelte sich nahezu in uns. Und so ist es seitdem geblieben. Luni ist eine ängstliche, wahnsinnig liebe und anhängliche Katze. Jeden morgen kuschelt sie mit mir auf dem Sofa und genießt jede Minute dabei.

Hello, my name is Celina and I’m raising money to cover the veterinary costs for my cat Luni. Short version: Luni has a mass in her liver—maybe cancer, maybe something else. To find out what it is and to treat her properly, she needs various diagnostics, including a CT scan that alone costs €1800. Originally, it was supposed to be just a routine dental cleaning. To check if she was fit for anesthesia, the vet did a blood test and found massively elevated liver and pancreas values. Luni also already had slightly yellow skin on her ears. An ultrasound showed an inflamed liver and pancreas. Additionally, the dental X-ray revealed FORL (Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions), and a few teeth had to be removed. Since Luni had been acting like her usual self, we really didn’t expect any of this. According to the vet, her blood values were so bad that Luni’s good condition seemed like a medical miracle. The treatment consisted only of antibiotics and a follow-up blood test scheduled in 3-4 weeks. That didn’t sit right with me, so I took Luni to a veterinary clinic. There, the vets wanted to check her blood values again and do another ultrasound. Unfortunately, this was only possible as a drop-off appointment, which meant my little anxious cat had to wait alone at the clinic from 8 AM to 4 PM. Then came the shock: The vet found a mass in her liver about 2 cm in size. They want to put Luni under anesthesia, open her abdomen, and take a tissue sample. A fine needle biopsy without anesthesia would be too imprecise. However, they also want her to be hospitalized for infusion therapy for two days before the surgery. Back at home, the next shock: Luni’s tail, backside, and hind legs were covered in dried feces. How could no one at the clinic notice that? For me, it was clear: I cannot leave my cat hospitalized there for two days. This Friday we now have an appointment at a different clinic that offers advanced diagnostics. A CT scan is planned, and maybe additional procedures. The CT scan alone costs €1800. With the dental surgery and everything so far, I’m already at over €2500 and sadly at the end of my savings. That’s why I’m asking for help: Please help me cover Luni’s medical expenses. She’s only 7 years old—way too young for all of this. We adopted Luni 4 years ago. She came from a private home where she was so badly bullied by a male cat that she lived outside on the balcony, no matter the weather. Whenever she tried to enter the apartment, the other cat would attack her so viciously that she screamed for help. The first night with us, she was so scared she hid under the sofa cushion and even peed there because she didn’t dare to come out. After three days, when she realized the other cat hadn’t moved with her, she came out and snuggled up to us—and that hasn’t changed since. Luni is a very anxious, incredibly loving, and affectionate cat. Every morning she cuddles with me on the couch and enjoys every minute of it.
