Our beloved Aunt Helen Phan unexpectedly passed away yesterday from health complications. She leaves behind two young sons, Richard and Anthony Phan.

Her passing caught our entire family by surprise. Our entire family is still in disbelief that her loud, generous and loving soul is not with us anymore. 

If you’ve met Aunt Helen before, you’ll know that she’s absolutely selfless. She would always put other people's needs before her own. Even if it meant going out of her own way just to give you a hand. She was the most kind-hearted person you can ever imagine. She is so friendly that even strangers can be turned into a friend in a matter of moments. Her love for cooking knows no bound and has connected many of us through each meal.

While her husband had cancer, she took on the responsibility of being a mother and a father figure to her children. After her husband passed away, not only did she take care of her two kids, she also took care of her parents alone. 

She was a single parent raising two kids and her unexpected passing now leaves her family with financial hardships. We are hoping to raise money to pay for the unexpected costs of her funeral as well as supporting the children she leaves behind.
