Helene Flood Victim- Tatum Hall Family

Tatum Hall’s family- This young TN family has suffered catastrophic devastation. Their home was flooded in the mountains of TN. The entire first floor of their house was underwater. In the picture on the left you can see the path of the water was so violent entering her home that it destroyed the pavement on its way in.

Everything they own is pretty much destroyed from flood waters. Unfortunately they have no flood insurance.

They have two babies, both in diapers. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to them. We know times are hard for so many, but every dollar truly makes a difference. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity! 100% of all funds raised with the exception of the gofundme fees (which are minimal) will go to Tatum.

Tatum’s mom, Maria, and I are friends for over 30 years. We were bridesmaids at each other's weddings. I saw the devastation and absolutely wanted to help. They have no electricity and limited cell service. This is Maria’s words on the state of what is happening:

- A little update on what I've seen and know so far. Avery County, NC is devastated. We have no cell service, no power and/or spotty electric and no water. Please know that if you can't reach loved ones it's because of these things. Going to Johnson City, TN from Avery is the only place to get cell service as of now. The main grocery store, Ingles in Newland has been closed this whole time as well. Gas stations are just now opening up slowly so there are long lines for gas. Trying to get to Boone is impossible because all roads are washout or bridges are gone. Areas of Roan Mountain are devastated as well. My daughter's house being one of those. If you are available to help anyone in anyway with groceries, water, just letting family members of loved ones know they are safe I know they would appreciate it.
